We are a fast growing Multi Residential Unit (MRU) Property Management company. We’re investing, and managing MRU’s in the  Hamilton-Niagara Peninsula (HNP). The Hamilton-Niagara Peninsula (HNP) Economic Region spans the three census metropolitan areas (CMA) of Hamilton, St. Catharines-Niagara, and Brantford, and also covers Haldimand-Norfolk. The combined region represents about 11 percent of the provincial population, about 1.45 million people.

Payments and Transfers of Rental Payments

We’re moving to an online method to collect the rent! Effective immediately you can pay your rent via email transfer. You will receive a personalized email address where to send the rent. If you have not received your personlized letter with the transfer instructions please email us at info@rosopm.com

Your bank will require a Security Question, and an Answer when prompted to do the transfer. In the same letter from the landlord you will receive that information.  

Example of steps to be done online (TD Bank, all the other banks have a similar process):

Here is a possible scenario (TD Bank example, other banks are vey similar). Select

  1. Login into your online banking and select Interac e-Transfer
  2. Add a recipient for your Interac e-Transfer (one-time process only)
  • Fill out the recipient name :ROSO PM Monthly Rent
  • Enter the email, Security Question, and Answer as per the letter.
  1. After the recipient has been added, select the Transfer Funds
  2. Select the From option: your banking account, the To option: ROSO PM Monthly Rent, specify your rental amount.
  3. Submit the payment.

This new payment method provides you with the following benefits:

  • You do not have to write cheques monthly,
  • You do not have to provide post-dated cheques,
  • You do not have to pay for stamps, envelopes, or cheques,
  • You do not have to reveal your personal banking information,
  • You do not have to sign any banking documents,
  • You have a permanent record on your bank statement of every payment,
  • You can view your payment history through your bank statement.

Tenant Content Insurance

All tenants must provide proof of their tenant insurance, the policy confirmation page is acceptable. The landlord is not responsible for any loss, theft or damage to tenants personal items. Tenant insurance can often be obtained through your bank or current insurance provider.

Utilities accounts set up in YOUR name

Tenants with additional utilities must provide proof that the account(s) has been set up in their name. The account number suffices. Please contact them directly prior to your move in and set up the accounts as of the first day on your lease.

Checks

If your lease requires deposits or post dated checks for your rental payments, please have them ready and made out to ROSO Property Management, be sure to specify in the memo line your property and unit address as well as what it is for. Please know that additional fees apply if submitting cash. Payment by automatic withdraw is now available, Set up forms HERE.

Photo ID

All tenants on the lease are required to submit a copy of government issued photo ID.

Change your address

Arrange for your mail to be forwarded from your old address to your new throught Canada Post HERE as well as with Revenue Canada and OHIP/Service Canada HERE.

Review the buildings rules and regulations

This allows you to full enjoy your new home, while respecting your neighbors and representing the owner positively. Being aware of the by-laws, rules and regulations, will avoid you incurring any unknown infractions or fines. Pay close attention to move in and out procedures and pet policies.

Inspections

We will provide you with a move in inspection report. ROSO Property Management will have previously done the inspection report prior to you occupying the unit however we always recommend that tenant conduct there own as well to insure all parties agree on the condition in which they received the unit. Within the first week of your move in, please send your version of the inspection back to us along with any pictures you feel are necessary, so we can keep on record. We do not want to wrongly accuse tenants of preexisting damages however it is also your responsibility to supply us with documentation supporting this.
